CREDIT2B User Group

Monday, October 23 - 11:00am to 12:30pm - Complimentary, Lunch Included - Separate Registration Required!
Join us for a complimentary lunch session that explains in simple terms the value of using Big Data and Machine Learning in predicting late payments as well as bankruptcies. Machine Learning algorithms give us the power to achieve an unprecedented prediction accuracy using big and diverse data from all potential sources. At Credit2B we have applied these methods to significantly improve predictiveness of credit delinquency scores using vertical industry Medicare data in healthcare (e.g., hospital distress scores). We also learned how these algorithms enhance the Z-score without changing the score elements but simply letting the machine dynamically adjust the score weights as the global macro-economic environment changes. Through this session we will discuss lessons learned in the use of industry-specific scores and why in this century, we as credit practitioners, have to pay attention to the science of big data and machine learning. CRF is releasing a white paper on this topic soon!
